The new treatment for some menopausal symptoms – without hormones!
You Purchase Veoza Tablets once you complete a consultation with us – this product is purchasing a consultation, the medicine is only released if suitable and after you have spoken to one of our prescribing experts.
Veoza Tablets serve as a non-hormonal remedy designed for menopausal women. They are used to alleviate moderate to severe vasomotor symptoms (VMS), commonly known as hot sweats or hot flushes. Purchasing this consultation starts the process of obtaining this medicine – you need a baseline liver test first before we can dispatch it. We explain how this works later.
Do not purchase this consultation if:
You are pregnant, or planning to get pregnant. Are currently taking HRT containing Oestrogen/Estradiol – other than topical oestrogen for vaginal dryness or are currently undergoing therapy for active malignancy. (Chemotherapy). If you know you have severe liver impairment
Mechanism of Action of Veoza Tablets
Preceding menopause, a delicate balance exists between estrogen and the neurokinin B (NKB) protein, which regulates the temperature control centre in your brain.
Fezolinetant, the active ingredient in Veoza, acts by inhibiting the binding of NKB in your temperature control centre. This effectively diminishes the frequency and intensity of hot flushes and night sweats.
Before your treatment consultation
On purchasing this consultation, you will be sent an email and a physical test kit to do a baseline liver function test. You can do this test at home yourself and upload the result to our portal. Full instructions will be sent by email (don’t worry it’s very easy). Once you have done the test, you can book an appointment for the prescribing of the medicine by telemedicine. We need this test result before starting you on therapy. Please note this consultation does not include the actual cost of the medicine – this payment effectively pays for your consult, but the medicine is £60 if you are suitable for prescribing. This will be charged before dispatch.
Adhere to the instructions provided in the patient information leaflet or those given by your prescriber/pharmacist. Consume one tablet daily with water, preferably at the same time each day. Avoid breaking, crushing, or chewing the tablet.
