Welcome to The OncoLife Clinic
By Dickson Chemist
A cancer diagnosis can bring questions and change. At the OncoLife Clinic, we provide a calm and supportive space where you can explore additional ways of caring for your health alongside your oncology team.
Our focus is not on replacing standard cancer treatment, but on offering complementary support that helps you feel informed, involved, and empowered in your journey.
Our Philosophy
We believe cancer care should address more than just the tumour. The OncoLife Clinic is built on the principle that supporting the whole person — mind, body, and lifestyle — can make a meaningful difference to wellbeing.
We are particularly interested in the metabolic approach to cancer, an area of emerging research that looks at how cancer cells use energy differently from healthy cells. While the science is still developing, we use this perspective as a framework for supporting patients in ways that may help them feel stronger, more balanced, and more in control. A helpful article explaining this approach in detail is available from MedicalRealities here.
What We Offer
Every person’s needs are different, so your plan will be personalised to you. At the OncoLife Clinic, we may explore:

Metabolic Health Strategies – informed by ongoing research into how energy use and nutrition affect the body, including medical strategies to compliment standard therapy.
-
Pharmacological interventions – in line with the ReDo project, popularised by Cancer Options, Care Oncology and Jane McLelland’s book “How to starve cancer”.
-
Immune System Support – gentle, holistic approaches aimed at balance and resilience.
